Changes to my Study Programm

According to the changes I would make in my career, I would add more subjects of laboratories, because it's important to have more experience in those areas.

I would like the workload to be less heavy, as students suffer of a lot of stress when all the tests and assignments pile up. Be a student is very difficult!

The university buildings are modern, but it would be ideal if they improved even more.

Nowadays the use of technology is essential and it's being implemented more and more, that is very good, especially in an online semester like this.

I would also like the teachers of difficult subjects would be more understanding and teach better.

An Activity I like to do in my free time

The Simpson: My Favorite TV show

If any of you have the Fox channel on your TV, you have seen The Simpson, the famous yellow family. Its main characters are Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. This show is about an american family and their funny adventures.

One of my many favorite episodes is called Flaming Moe's. It's an episode of the third season and it's about Moe and his tavern going in an economic deficit, then Homer decides to tell him about "Flaming Homer", a liquor he had invented.
Then Moe asks Homer to prepare some of that liquor, and when he tastes it, he steal the recipe from Homer.

Thanks to the recipe, Moe's tavern becomes popular . The waitress discovers that Moe's recipe was created by Homer, and manages to convince him to sell the recipe and give half to Homer.

The next day, Moe is about to finalize the sale when Homer tells everyone that the secret ingredient is cough syrup, so they lose everything.

Finally  Homer forgives Moe and Moe invites him to drink a "Flaming Homer".

This episode leaves a beautiful teaching, like how to forgive a friend. That's what I like most about these seasons, each of the episodes has a happy ending.

I hope that some of you like this animated series, maybe some hate it haha, ​​but I hope you like this article talking about one of my favorite TV show.

A job I would like to do in the future

Postgraduate Studies

After finishing my career as  Pharmaceutical Chemist, I would like to carry out some postgraduate study related to regulatory matters, mainly focused on the area of ​​cosmetic products.

I have great interest in the large number of cosmetic products that are produced in different countries, where there are raw materials that are often not found in Chile, and to be imported into Chile, these products need to comply with the legislation of our country, in accordance with the guidelines provided by regulatory bodies.  I would love if this variety of products could be accessible to many people with different type of skin.

In Chile, the University of Chile teaches the Diploma in Regulatory Affairs, which has a part focused on cosmetic products. The ideal would be to take these complementary courses paralel with my work, and make it in person and online.

Looking for a dream job

When I finish my career I would like to join in a course about cosmetic ,this was the area I enjoyed the most on the career, so I would be very happy working in a place like a cosmetic laboratory.

In a future I want to make my own brand of cosmetic, like a line of facial care with creams and serums or even makeup.

I imagine my future dream job in a beautiful office. I would like a job where I feel comfortable with others workers and meet new people.

I love to travel to other countries so I would like to travel a lot because of job, I think this is the most entertaining part of it.

I'm about to finish my career, so I hope these dreams don't take so long to come true haha.

I want to be a ecologic person

Recycling is not something we learn from a young age, at least in our country and society.

Unfortunately in my house we have not incorporated any recycling habit, although I would like very much be able to lead a more ecological life with my family.

The truth is that I love to walk and I try to do it as much as I can, I prefer this to take the bus or the subway.

I have friends who lead a much more sustainable life and I learned a lot from them, I hope that when I live alone I will have a space to compost or places to recycle waste.

So far I have done nothing to reduce my carbon footprint, but I really hope to start acting soon for the good of the planet.

Hopefully these subjects were taught to us at school, so them would be habits that we would all have acquired.

With this post I feel like a terrible person, haha. I promise to change my habits to become a better person to our planet.

A incredible manga artist

The person I would like to meet is Hayao Miyasaki, the founder of the wonderful studio of animation named Studio Ghibli. He is from Japan and he works and  animator, filmmaker and manga artist. I don't really know about his personality, but It is innegable that he is a creative and talented person.

The thing that I admire the most of him is his imagination, because he has made the most wonderful animated movies that I have seen in my life.

He directed numerous films such as Castle in the Sky, Porco Rosso, Kiki's Delivery Service and my favourite: My Neighbor Totoro. All these films were a success in Japan and later,  these were in the rest of the world.

In all of his films the protagonist is a strong girl or a young woman, who doesn't  need the help of men or a charming prince to save them, this is a precious lesson for all the girls.

I don't know if our ways will cross, but in some years I want to travel to his country so if I am really lucky, this can happen someday.

"Hablar de ti"

I have been in more massive and popular concerts but one of my favorite concerts in my life was during the year 2018, on July 14, that day I went to the concert of the chilean singer Gepe, in a place called Blondie.  It was a small concert but I was enjoying it a lot, but the best thing was when I heard my favorite song, called "Hablar de ti", the person next to me asked me if I could be his girlfriend, and since then we are together, it was a beautiful moment for us, it will be a moment that I will never forget.  

That night we had a great time listening good music. 

A place I don't really like

Well, this is a difficult post, because I don't think  any place I have been is bad or disgusting.
But if I have to choose a place that I really don't like is Melipilla.
Melipilla is a city near Santiago,  last year I needed to go there because it is the place where my boyfriend lives. I didn't  know this city before, that was the first time that I traveled there.
The things that I didn't like it was the boredom I felt in this place, they didn't have much sites for entertainment and the city was so gray, like without trees inside the city.
Melipilla means in mapudungun: meli pillañ, 'four pillanes', and was founded on 11th October of 1742 by  José Manso de Velasco.
In resume, I don't really hate Melipilla, I only think that It is not a place to live for a person like me, that I like quieter places with a lot of vegetation.

Class of autumn 2020

Hello dears classmates, my name is Francisca, I´m 26 years old and I´m in latest year in the career of Chemistry and pharmacy .

My biggest weakness in the study of English, is the moment when I try to talk with other people, because I feel so nervous in that situation.

In these complicated moments, I try to be at home all the time. Fortunately I bought a new game in my console, so I spend all my free time in this game, that it is called Animal Crossing. It´s a very cute and funny form to spend  the hours in these days.  But in some moments I feel so worried for my most vulnerable members of my family, like my grandmother, because she have 84 years old.

I want this ugly virus get out of this planet and all of us be safe and happy.
