My kitten

In my life, I haven't had many pets, because my mom dont like much have animals in our house .

However, I love the animals and I always dreamed with have a cat or a dog when I was a girl, but I never could.

The past year, in October, at the night of Halloween, on the way to my home, I listened a loud meow,  so I decided go to see where the sound came. What I found was a little cat, with about 2 months of life, abandoned in front of a house, scared and hungry. So without much thinking about, I took him to my home. My parents scolded me, but finally the little cat stayed with me.

His name is Leon, because he have a beautifully fluffy blonde hair. I love him so much, he is not much affectionate, but he demonstrate his love in other ways. Every morning, he come to my head to make a massage with his paws and he start to purr very loud.
He is very funny too, with his antics he make us laugh much.

The story of my favourite photograph

My favourite photograph in this world is the capture of a happy moment in my childhood  many years ago.

I was in front of our house, in a  place named Pichidangui ,in the IV region. All my childhood we came here for summer vacations, or in the weekends. In thats travels, we went with my olders brothers too, probably my brother named Sebastían took this picture.

The picture shows my parents and me; me in the arms on my dad and my mom beside, looking me with love and my dad like always, serious in all the photos.That's was taken probably in the autumn of 1997, when I had 4 years old. It was a cloudy day.

I have a lot of  photograph of my chilhood, my dad used take a lot of pictures of me and my family, so we have a lot of beautiful moments captured in many albums.

My favourite piece of technology

My most loved piece of technology is my cell phone, without it I can't even wake up every morning haha.

With the years the technology has evolved. Today we can do everything with them, like talk with your friend at the other side of the world by a video chat or order your favorite food at the door of your house, that's  amazing!

I got my first cellphone in 2003, at that time,  almost all I could do was call to my mom or play with an old-school game, the snake, that was an epic game. For my age and for that time, those things were cool things.

In this moment, I use my cell phone every second, like almost people in the world, to talk with my boyfriend or mom, to see the hour, to find a direction, to see the trendy TV program, to know about things of the university and to listen music. In conclusion, we use the cellphone for everything, this piece of technology replace many of the other electronic devices, like clocks, maps, TV, radio, mp3, landline, etc.

Why I like it? How would I not like it??! If it's beautiful, functional, it make my life easier, but it has a negative side, we have no privacy these days, even the smallest things we share with others, sometimes we can fight for the things we see on social networks.

If we don't have it, life would be so boring, or the life could be more relaxed, depend how you see the situation, because the advance of technology  has many good things, but also many bad things. However, without a cellphone we can't communicate whit other people, but this person can use their time in others things like reading a book, this is a bad part of the use of the technology, you can get away from your real life.

For me, life without a cell phone will be difficult, I depend a lot of it.

My dream job when I was a little girl

Since I have memory I like all the animals, so when I was a girl I wanted to become a veterinarian.
My mom never let me have a pet, for that reason I could only give love to the animals I saw on the street, like dogs and cats.
Later, when I grew up a bit more, I realized that this university career is not just about loving animals, it's about saving their lives.

It hurt me a lot that a small animal died in my hands, so I gave up on choosing that career in the future.

In the end, I decided at the last minute to follow my parents' recommendation to study chemistry and pharmacy, I dont really know if it will be the job of my dreams, but I hope I can find happiness working on this.

Some things about me...

I'm Francisca González and I'm a chemistry and pharmacy student at the University of Chile. All my friends know me simply as Fran.

When I was at school, called "The Greenland School," I saw my sister and my brother how they studied chemistry and pharmacy, not knowing at that time that I was going to follow the same path as them.

I am an admirer of The Simpson and I know perfectly all the dialogues of each chapter of the series. I'm really a fan.

In the photo I show part of my collection of the Simpsons, I hope that one day it will be much bigger.

Cats are my weakness. Every time I see a cat anywhere, the first thing I think is to caress it. I would love to have many cats and be able to love them as much as I can.

A delicious meal is also one of my weaknesses, for example french fries, hamburgers, sushi, chinese food and I also enjoy vegetables a lot.

I am a person who prefers to be at home instead of partying, I enjoy a vacation in front of the sea and in tranquility with my family and the people that matter most to me.
